Orchard Point Condominiums, Orillia, ON
Steenhof Building Services Group was responsible for the Structural Engineering Design of the Orchard Point Condominiums, located in Orillia, ON. The first phase of the project was completed in 2011.
Silver Birch Condominiums, Parry Sound, ON
Steenhof Building Services Group was the Structural Engineer for the 24 unit condominium building located in Parry Sound, ON. Phase 1 of this development was completed in 2011.
Trailview Townhomes, Orillia, ON
Steenhof Building Services Group was the lead consultant during the Design and Construction of Trailview Townhomes, located in Orillia, ON. SBSG was responsible for the Structural Engineering, Selection of Exterior Finishes, Interior Design, Project Management and Contract Administration. This project was completed in 2009.
The Common Roof, Orillia, ON
Steenhof Building Services Group has completed several Commercial, Retail and Hospitality Projects, across Ontario. In 2010/2011, SBSG completed the design for the Retail and Commerical building presented in the adjacent image, which is located in Orillia, ON. SBSG was responsible to provide Architectural Design, Structural Enigneering, Interior Design, Mechanical Design, Electrical Design, Project Management, and Contract Administration Services. The construction of this project was completed in the Summer of 2011.
Bobby Orr Community Centre, Parry Sound, ON
Steenhof Building Services Group provided the following services for the Renovation and Addition to the Bobby Orr Community Centre: Structural Engineering, Architectural Design, Interior Design & Decorating, Project Management and Contract Administration. Located in Parry Sound, ON, the newly renovated arena opened in the Fall of 2010.
Custom Cottage #1, Lake Simcoe, Oro-Medonte, ON
Steenhof Building Services Group provides Architectural Design and Engieering Design Services for Residences and Cottages located across Ontario. The Cottage displayed in this photo was completed in the Summer of 2010. SBSG was the Engineer on Record, and provided Project Management and Contract Administration Services. SBSG also provided assistance with attaining approval from the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority (LSRCA), and the required Building and Planning Approvals from the local Township.
Custom Boathouse #1, Lake Joseph, ON
Steenhof Building Services Group Designs and Engineers custom boathouse for locations across Ontario. SBSG completes all calculations with reference to wave uprush to ensure all structures meet the requirements of the local jurisdictions. SBSG has the expertise to complete, submit and co-ordinate permit approval from local Conservation Authorities.
Timber Frame and Log Construction Design Services
Steenhof Building Services Group has completed designs and structural reviews for many timber frame and log construction residences.
Jim Wilson's Chevrolet Dealership, Orillia, ON
Steenhof Building Services Group was the lead Structural Engineer for this project, and was responsible for Project Management and Contract Administration during the Construction process. This project is located in Orillia, Ontario and was completed in 2006.

As note above, Steenhof Building Services Group incorporates 3-D imagery into alomost all of our designs. The adjacent image is a perspective view of a custom home design completed by our Architectural Department. This prespective is a typical view included in our working drawing packages.

Steenhof Building Services Group has the ability to create “life like” renderings. As displayed in the adjacent photograph, SBSG is able to produce high quality images, suitable for large signs, marketing brochures, sell sheets, etc.

Steenhof Building Services Group utilizes the latest software in 3-dimensional drafting technology. Currently our drafting department works with 2012 AutoCAD & Revit Software, which allows us to incorporate detailed 3-d imagery into our working drawing packages. Having this ability is a great advantage as we are able to “walk” our clients through their custom homes/offices/facilities to ensure the design meets the needs and requirements. SBSG prides themselves on exceeding the expectations of our clients, and maintaining state-of the art computer technology has allowed us to do so.

Steenhof Building Services Group was responsible for the Renovation and Addition of the Amidyne Building located in Newmarket, ON. SBSG provided Architectural Design, Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Interior Design, Project Management and Contract Administration Services. This project was completed in the Fall of 2009.
500 kW Roof Mount Solar PV Installation, Sudbury, ON
Steenhof Building Services Group was responsible to complete a Structural Feasibility Report, Structural Permit Drawings, Electrical Permit Drawings, Site Reviews during construction, Single Line Drawings (SLD) and the Connection Impact Assessment (CIA). The 500 kW Solar PV System was installed in 2011.
250 kW Roof Mount Solar PV Installation, Orillia, ON
The adjacent image displays a 250 kW Solar Photovoltaic (PV) that was awarded a FIT Contract by the Ontario Power Authority. For this project, Steenhof Building Services Group completed the Structural and Electrical Feasibility Report, Structural Permit Drawings, Electrical Permit Drawings, Connection Impact Assessment (CIA) and the Single Line Drawing (SLD). The Solar PV System was installed in the summer of 2011 and has now been successfully connected to the grid.

Steenhof Building Services Group was responsible to complete a Structural Feasibility Report, Structural Permit Drawings, and Site Reviews during construction for this 250 kW Solar PV Installation. This system was the first 250kW Roof Mount system installed in Ontario under the FIT Program.

Steenhof Building Services Group was responsible to complete a Structural Feasibility Report, Structural Permit Drawings and Site Reviews during construction for the solar PV system viewed in the adjacent image. This was a flush mount application on a metal sloped roof, and was installed in the summer of 2011.
